| I have 1st hand experience with this as well and am getting quite frustrated with bumfuck oklahoma. I have gotten full alignmentsand as soon as I was done, drove straight to another alignment shop, and was told I need an alignment. So I go back and ask wtf and get all sorts of excuses. Next time you get an alignment WATCH them do it. If they dont touch your upper control arms then you obviously paid them to do nothing. That tire wear is classic negative camber. Lots of these shithead lazy asses pull your car in "oh yeeeaaa we can handle the alignment on that car, we do them ALL THE TIME" and once they see what is actually involved in getting a Z in spec. They realize they dont want to do that much work and so they "push" on the sensors to trick the machine and get whatever printout they need to take your money and get your Z out of their hair. They know you wont know the difference when it comes to camber until several months down the road, and by then they can blame it on anything: how you drive, rough roads knocking the alignment off, etc etc. They have excuses for days. BOTTOM LINE NEVER take your Z to an alignment shop that works primarily on volume/turnaround, in other words any franchise or chain shop.
Only go to someplace that bases their business on the quality of work they do. They likely will cost significantly more. You will be saving money in the long run obviously, and not having to deal with incompetent people and the consequences of their incompetence on your Z car is immeasurable. Too bad I dont live near you, or I'd recommend a shop. But FWIW, until I locate such a shop here in the Oklahoma City area, I have to rely on Jerry's Wheel alignments in Pflugerville, just north of Austin (only a 350 mile drive).
